Texas Trounces North Texas 56-7

by: Damon McCullar

Sat Sep 02, 2006 at 04:38 PM CDT

Okay, did this surprise anyone?  Seriously though, Texas is back!  The D and Special Teams are stronger than ever.  This team is so good that they made two rookie QB's look like seasoned vets.  On that note I believe that McCoy looked a little more prepared than Stead, but that was expected with him being a redshirt last season.  The 2006 Texas team is just as good if not better than the 2005 National Championship team.  I can see great things in the Longhorn's future.

I am in UNT's non-football dorm (music dorm). I don't know much about football, but I know we suck balls. We haven't scored against you guys in the last few years, I'm surprised we did now.

Go UNT!

Is Bruce Hall still the music dorm? I have fond memories of Denton. It was actually semi-liberal in the early 70s.

Oh yeah! (0.00 / 0)
That's exactly where I am. Bruce Hall lobby rat I am. However I am not a music student.

the real story should be "Notre Dame Has a Defense Again"

Is the name of this blog "The Golden Dome Report?"

Typical Domer spin. Squeak out a win because a future 6-5 team can't properly snap the ball and proclaim their dominance is the big story of the night.

See you ranked around 23 in a few weeks...

Hey George? (0.00 / 0)
Who's still undefeated after week 2?

I'd rather be spinning a win than a loss.  just sayin.

True (0.00 / 0)
Penn State wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders, but it's a lot easier to give ND credit after this week's win than last week's. Good luck against Meatchicken next week.
