This is episode 35 for the week of September 1st.

Labor Day has passed and that means campaign season is officially underway — for normal people. Imad and I discuss the latest developments in the gubernatorial race between Wendy Davis and Greg Abbott including their brand new ads that are both airing on TV.

We highlight Gov. Perry’s latest oops moment (now a recurring theme) and give an update on his presidential campaign.

We’re also happy to announce that we will be at the Texas Tribune’s TribFest where we plan to do interviews and cover panel sessions with political and thought leaders from around the state. From the looks of it everyone will be there — except Greg Abbott.
