It's Friday! Time for your Burnt Orange Reporters to close some browser tabs and touch on the issues of the week.

First up this week, a fascinating Slate.com map shows a state-by-state breakdown of the most popular languages in the US, other than Spanish and English. Texas's third most common language is Vietnamese!

The GOP hispanic outreach is in full effect in Katy where a gun store owner changed his sign to read, "I like my guns like Obama likes his voters: undocumented." Instead of condemning it, it is being passed around GOP blogs and was promoted by Rush Limbaugh on Facebook.
