Join Us Tuesday April 15 To Watch Julian Castro and Dan Patrick Face Off on Immigration

by: Burnt Orange Report

Wed Apr 09, 2014 at 02:30 PM CDT

On Tuesday, April 15, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro and State Senator and Lt. Gubernatorial candidate Dan Patrick will be debating the issue of immigration for a statewide audience, and we'd like you to come watch with us.

We will be gathering at Scholz Garten in Austin to watch the show-down on their big screen. The debate will air from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and will be moderated by Evan Smith of the Texas Tribune.

Julian Castro is Mayor of San Antonio and a star in the Democratic Party. Dan Patrick is a divisive, anti-immigrant, anti-woman, anti-education right-wing conservative poised to win a Republican primary run-off for Lieutenant Governor.

Join your friends from BOR and the Travis County Democratic Party as we watch two Texas politicians debate this key issue that will shape the future of Texas.
