Wrecking the national anthem is a great American pastime. You've heard Rosanne do it at a baseball game, but what does it sound like when "America's most patriotic band" plays does it at a NASCAR event? Ready, set, cringe.

Bleedingcool.com has an editorial, "The Image Of A Black Man On Fire," on the casting of Michael B. Jordan, an African American, as The Human Torch, a traditionally Caucasian character, in the upcoming film relaunch of the superhero team The Fantastic Four. The author of Bleeding Cool's editorial, who is also African American, is not pleased with the racial change of the commercially popular Johnny Storm. Read the entire editorial yourself to find out why many in the geek community are not entirely pleased with this one, specific racial change in the pseudo-Marvel Universe.

The Sealy, Texas based company Hennessey Performance just released a video of their modified Hennessey Venom GT reaching a top land speed of 270.49 miles per hour. And, speaking of fast, the video was uploaded Feb. 24th and gathered over 1,000,000 views in less than 24 hours.
