Burnt Orange Report is Texas' leading source of progressive news and commentary, and we want to help progressive organizations and candidates across the state share their messages through BOR.

From posting in the user diaries to submitting op-eds to purchasing advertising, there are many ways to reach out to our influential readership.

Click below the jump to learn about the many ways you can engage with BOR readers on our site!

First off, before you start, make sure to read the community guidelines that will answer most of your questions.

If you would like to introduce yourself to the community:

You can sign up for a user account on BOR by clicking here. Once you've created your account, click the link on the right side of the page that says "Write a Post." Compose your post (anything in the "Main Text" box will show up above the jump while "Extended Text" will appear below the jump). Once you're done writing, hit "Preview" to see how the post will look, then hit "Save" to publish the post!

We encourage candidates and organizations to sign up for BOR accounts and post in our User Diaries section. (Note: Disclaimers will be added to posts by candidates' paid staff.)

If you would like to submit an op-ed:

You may also submit an op-ed to be run in our weekend op-ed feature by emailing Katherine Haenschen at katherine@burntorangereport.com .

If you'd like to advertise on BOR:

BOR also offers in-house advertising. If you'd like to run ads on our site, email Katherine at katherine@burntorangereport.com and we can provide more information regarding advertising packages.

2014 is going to be a big year for Texas Democrats, and BOR is excited to help spread progressive messages across the state in any way we can!
