It's Christmas and Festivus week, and whether you're observing anything this week or not, the time to relax and visit with family and friends is certainly a welcome break. Several Democrats in Texas and elsewhere took to Twitter to share how they're celebrating this year.

Legislators and elected Democrats alike are full of the holiday spirit. Senator Carlos Uresti dressed up as Santa to help some kids in need:

Last but not least, Santa's not the only person spreading good cheer door-to-door, as this photo from Lon Burnam shows. Here's to hoping that he succeeds in his efforts to stuff Rick Perry's stocking with a Medicaid extension in the future.
