  1. BOR Missed the Boat
It looks as if BOR has missed the boat with its support of Props 5 and 6.  If you haven't already voted, please consider voting AGAINST those two. Prop 5 because it does signal an end to keeping seniors safely in their homes for the rest of their lives. With our state being controlled by people who believe regulation is a dirty word…how long will it take for the predators to move in and take over? 5 minutes? 4?

Vote AGAINST Proposition 5. Thank you.

And Prop 6 because of what Sharon wrote and what our communities in North Texas have experienced with the egregious disregard for our precious water. If you don't already know about the stories of water being trucked from one city for use in another city during water restrictions, then you may not live in North Texas or be paying close enough attention if you do.

Vote AGAINST Proposition 6. Thank you.

Arlington, TX water used for Fracking in Grand Prairie, TX

Until our state legislature and our governor get serious with discussions about the MESS, AKA unconventional drilling into shale formations…until that time, we shouldn't be voting for ANY new water projects. Thank you. Vote AGAINST Proposition 6!

  2. Agree on 7 of 9
It's amazing that BOR and TCRP agree on a whopping 77.7% of these amendments – kind of shows that sometimes we all want similar things, along with similar reasoning too.  I think the vote was split 50/50 on Prop 6, so no recommendation one way or the other on that one at TCRP.  Cheers!  -Vik
