Joe Moody is a second-generation public servant running to win back his seat in HD-78 to continue his service to keep the El Paso community safe. During the 81st legislative session, Joe Moody became a well-known criminal jurisprudence expert who filed many pieces of legislation.
Moody helped pass one of the most sweeping pieces of anti-gang legislation in Texas. It's clear to see why El Paso's Sheriff, District Attorney and County Attorney have united behind Joe Moody in the race for State Representative in House District 78. Dee Margo, the Republican who took HD-78 in 2010, only filed two pieces of legislation last session.
