More Ron Paul Devotees Support Michael Cargill

"Liberty for All," the Paulite SuperPAC funded by a 21-year-old from Nacogdoches with his inherited fortune, is not the only enthusiast of our state's crazy Congressman Ron Paul who supports Michael Cargill. The Burnt Orange Report has learned that Texans for Accountable Government (TAG) is spending money to support the anti-gun-control activist who is trying to infiltrate the Democratic Party in his race for Travis County Constable, Precinct 2.

If you don't recognize their name, TAG has of late inserted itself into local politics, specifically municipal races. Most publicized was their illegal "FAIL" campaign aimed at Mayor Lee Leffingwell and Council Member Mike Martinez. Many of this website's readers often disagree vehemently with those two public servants, but TAG didn't turn around and campaign for Brigid Shea, the other sensible candidate in the mayoral race. TAG endorsed Clay Dafoe, the anarchist for Mayor of this city. They previously were involved in the 2011 Place 3 city council race, producing the "Shady the Clown" signs that lacked TEC-required disclaimers. Last session they also dressed up as Nazis (yes, actual Nazis) and stormed state capitol offices to protest the TSA bill.

Further, TAG has been behind any online advertising that you have seen calling Adan Ballesteros the "Cocaine Constable." While questions have been raised about Ballesteros, consider the source when seeing these attacks. The organization who wants you to know the most about what Ballesteros may or may not have done many years before running for public office are those who also advocate for virtually zero government.

And they aren't just spending against Ballesteros, now. They're spending for the person whose activist profile rails against core beliefs of the Democratic Party and the party's platform!  Cargill lobbied on behalf of the NRA to pass the Guns in Schools bill last session. The image at right is taken from Facebook, where TAG member John Bush advertises for "paid volunteers" (ahem, if you're paid you're not a volunteer) to blockwalk for Cargill.

If it wasn't already clear that Michael Cargill isn't a true Democrat, it should be clear now.

AG: Ballesteros' Improper use of Authority of a Constable (0.00 / 0)

Also, you have also left out the recent Texas Atty General's decision on Ballesteros' Office improper use of Authority of a constable with regard to payment of outstanding warrants issued by a justice court (RQ-1024-GA)

see:  https://www.oag.state.tx.us/op...

to Officer (0.00 / 0)
Ballesteros office was not ruled on by the Attorney General.  These TAG people twist the facts any way they want.  They are supported by Judge Glenn Bass who is just mad over redistricting in 4 precinct boxes.  There was never anything done by Ballesteros office that has not been done all over the State of Texas.  A citizen may have multiple warrants and to keep them out of jail the Constables (ALL of them) allow payment of each warrant in full and then let them pay the next warrant in full, when they are able, like a week or a month, etc. until they are all paid.
