Next week is Super Tuesday, but not in Texas -- thanks to Rick Perry and the Republican legislature's over-reach in redistricting. Our primary date has been moved back -- waaaay back -- from March 6th. So while voters in ten states cast ballots or caucus next Tuesday, we're gathering at Scholz's to meet some fine Democratic candidates, who we may even theoretically have the chance to vote for one of these months.
In between hearing from some of our sponsors and watching the results, we'll be playing themed party games about the GOP candidates and policies:
Fun Super Tuesday Party Games: - Rick Santorum Birth Control Shuffle -- Contestants race across the room with aspirin between their knees!
- The Newt-lywed Game -- A trivia contest about Newt's three wives... and counting!
- Transvaginal Ring Toss -- Throw the ring onto the probe, win a prize!
- And more!
While we may not have a primary date, legislative districts, or precinct lines, we will have complimentary beer for the first 50 guests, a bottomless chips, salsa and queso bar, and hilarious surprises. RSVP today before Greg Abbott files a Federal lawsuit against Democrats gathering for good times at Scholz Garten.
