Waller County Election Brings Asian American County Chairs in Texas to 2

Burnt Orange Report learned today that Waller County precinct chairs have voted in Sam Eng, Jr. in as the first Asian American Democratic Chair in Waller County at their most recent meeting. Eng had been a long-time Precinct 3 member in Waller County and reportedly has been working positively through a mid-cycle transition as Chair.

Eng joins Kelli Gill of Victoria as the second Asian American Democratic County Party Chairperson in Texas.
