MLK Day Open Thread

I was just in my teens when Dr. King died.
I remember my mother worried that the unrest of the 60s would tear the country apart; and so we would sit and listen to Dr. King's speechs. He would give us hope that there were voices of reason amongst the madness. He was one of my first heroes. I am still looking and working towards the top of his mountain.
Below is one of my favorite quotes.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence, and toughness multiplies toughness in a descending spiral of destruction....
