Green Party Scandal: Favors for Perry

by: Michael Hurta

Wed Jun 30, 2010 at 03:15 PM CDT

Yesterday, the Bill White campaign a video explaining why Mike Toomey would do such a thing as shadily funnel money towards an effort to put the Green Party on the ballot. It's worth a quick watch.

It's just favors for friends:

Rick Perry's been accusing Bill White of making money off of Hurricane Katrina for weeks, but it still hasn't stuck. Instead, Bill White's fought back -- which shouldn't be too hard to do, after all. Rick Perry's corruption is real and current; not a campaign stunt. If Rick Perry keeps it up, this might not be his only corrupt gaffe before the November elections.

"scandal" (0.00 / 0)
Grasping at straws, grasping at straws, grasping at straws.

I can see it now - Rick Perry walking around gleefully working to get the Green Party on the ballot, hosting a swanky party at his house to raise money to funnel their way...too bad it's all in my imagination, right?

Bill White is better than this (0.00 / 0)
This is a lame video and unbecoming of Bill White. Is this specifically a Bill White produced/published video from his official campaign?!

"vote diversion scheme"?! Last time I checked the voters decide for themselves who they vote for. There votes go to who they want.

"Green Party Scandal"...please?!

Way to drop in these last two items with 5 seconds left in the video.

Nice, dramatic editting, white noise, static and gerry picked news comments.

I do think the mandatory vaccine is BS and there is a relationship there between Toomey and Perry, but tying the Greens into this story line is tenuous at best. Definitely lame.

C'mon Bill stay out of the gutter.

So Is the Green Party (0.00 / 0)
The Green Party violated the law. They sold out their values for access.

I am ashamed of my friends who did this and I am ashamed of any party who would rather sell out than work hard.

Rick Perry is bad for Texas and has been for 25 years. I have no idea why the Green Party would break the law and support Rick Perry's failed policies when they so fundamentally oppose his policies.

Dem = Green? (0.00 / 0)
Seems there is a lot of hypocrisy around the Dems too.

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.c...

Rumors in Nevada too that Reid isn't working hard for votes with a Tea Partier there with suspect origins.

Rumors vs Facts (0.00 / 0)
Speculation is one thing, but there are facts that show the Green Party broke the law in Texas. Nobody seems to be denying that. Not even the comments on this blog or the Green Party themselves.

One Green Party candidate withdrew from a race because of how disgusted he is with selling the party to the Republicans.

You can of course read actual facts at http://lonestarproject.net/Per...
