Blogging this Week
By Byron LaMasters
I just wanted to briefly apologize for the minimal amount of posts this week. I'm busy graduating, and I'll be busy with family obligations over the next several days. Karl-Thomas is struggling with his antiquated dial-up connection in Fredericksburg, and I assume that Jim is either tackling or recovering from law school finals. As for Andrew... I don't know what his excuse is...

No worries, Byron. I hope commencement is fun for you. :)
I'll start up again when I have some spare time.
Actually, Byron, exams ended last week. I started work on Tuesday. I've been busy adjusting my life to this brave new world of being a paraprofessional-hipster.
Work, finishing up school and nothing to say really... I was thinking about doing a school finance update, as we've been remiss on the subject to a certain extent. HJR 6 has taken up a lot of the oxygen around here (as well it should), school finance will hit our pocketbooks pretty hard though.
BTW- word round town is that the Dems have 11 votes against HJR 6, which would block its consideration in the Senate, though some Repugs are claiming that they've peeled one or two off. The eleven are, of course, all the Dems except Armbrister.
Yes, I'm just loving the dial-up out here. Especially since it is on the phone line. I probably won't be posting much until I'm back in town on the 28th(ish). Then I'll be able to do some ground work for city council run-off that I have planned.
