Terri Schiavo Dies
By Byron LaMasters
Thankfully, this national tragedy is now over, but it won't stop Tom DeLay from shameless hypocrisy and overarching hysteria on the issue. My thoughts and prayers are certainly with the entire Schiavo family, and I hope that our nation can benefit from this national incident. Please join Jim's request and fill out a living will. At the very least, speak with your loved ones, and make sure that they know what treatment that you wish to receive if you are incapacitated or otherwise unable to make such decisions.

I believe that Terri Schiavo died 15 years ago, her body was finally released.
While I believ this will create controversy and debate for a long time. It is a call to remind people to think of their friends and families and make whatever living wills, declarations necessary, to spare them this kind of pain.
Terri Sciavo finished dying today. Michael Moon is correct--she has been dead for 15 years.
It is a tragedy in itself, but the fact that this poor woman was used as a political pawn makes this a mockery of life.
The Republican party and those right-to-lifers ought to be ashamed of themselves. The Bushes are hypocrites. Tom Delay is a hypocrite. The whole party makes me sick.
Well, I think you all should be ashamed. The Bible says to speak evil of no man, and especially our leaders. As for Terri Schiavo, anyone with half a brain knows that she was killed, because she was able to live for so long. It takes a human spirit for one to last as long as she did and someone will answer to God for shortening her life.
Ally, to say that one is ashamed of their leaders is not to speak evil of them. To call them hypocrites when there is a mountain of evidence to back the claim up is not evil. If we never questioned our leaders' actions, integrity, motives, ideals where would be as a society? Now, you are free to post most anything that you want, as are we all, but to say that we should be ashamed for calling our leaders to task is a bit ludicrous.
