Rep. DeLay in the Bedroom with a Candlestick?

Light rail systems are wonderful. I use the system in Chicago (the CTA) rather often. The 3.5 block walk from my place to the local CTA station takes about the same amount of time that it takes the train to go from there to the Clinton station in the western part of downtown Chicago.
If DeLay is a fan of big oil, why would he support the development of a transportation option that would reduce oil consumption?
