4:47 PM: The press conference is over. All I can say is that it's about frickin' time. Time for Andy Taylor and Ol' Talmadge to pack their bags and go home. Heflin's political career for all intents and purposes is over - good riddance.

I watched the press conference - not exactly gracious in defeat were they? The lawyer was basically saying that had they more time they would have figured out how to find more "illegal" votes and win the election - but the numbers don't add up and they know it. Of course, they also had to bring up a completely unfounded rumour (via a letter) that someone had been paying non-US citizens to vote - for Vo no doubt. Pah - good riddance.
