It's actually all a big lie

Instapundit makes a funny and Kevin Drum agrees.
Actually, planets are not necessarily spherical in shape. Earth is pear-shaped, with an equatorial bulge of a few dozen kilometers (not enough to make it look out-of-round in pictures, mind you). And the southern hemisphere is a tad fatter than the northern.

Wow.. Instapundit is snarky, funny and I agree with him at the same time. That's a first...
I don't think that's really a fair comparison -- the logic involved behind the two labels is quite different. (See here: http://dmobley.blogspot.com/2005/01/instapundit-on-intelligent-design-hes.html)
Nice job pointing out it's not round, though.
