ITS ups UT Mail Storage!
By Karl-Thomas Musselman
Props to Chris Kennedy in Student Government for pushing to get UT to add more e-mail storage space. From 10MB to 100MB. We owe you our thanks for one of a few common sense bills to come out of Student Government this past year!

That's funny, because today I officially changed my contact email for UT related stuff to a non-UT account because my UT account fills up within a day or two if I don't check it as I seem to get 1 MB+ / day of spam. Oh well... my BOR account gives me 800 MB, so I think I'll stick with that, but kudos to the SG for doing something that actually effects your average student as 99% of SG stuff seems mostly irrelevent to me.
My pleasure :)
Byron: 90% of SG stuff is not reported on. My work on expanding email storage, for example, received a total of one line in the Texan at the very end of an article last semester. The Texan tends to focus on the controversial (i.e. not cut-and-dried useful to the average student) SG issues, and much of their reporting is inaccurate, misquotes, etc. when they do report on it.
