Is liberal democracy three laws safe?
By Jim Dallas
I'm not providing an answer to that question, but I will note that watching I, Robot on DVD was more than a little bit like sitting through the political philosophy course I took in college.
Of course, further reading only brought up more flashbacks from lectures about social contracts and consent-based government.

Readership seems to be down, lack of comments.
Crossfire seem to be ruined when instead of political commentators they gave the program over to people who worked the campaign. There is an outsider viewpoint needed for this type of show to work. A need of a reporters instinct to feret out facts and get away from talking points. Begala and Carville would be great as "guest" but not a good host. The format of Crossfire as of late was more like spitting at each other and not discussing issues. The Bill Maher show has a lot more discussion, even when the host disagrees.
Remember when Margaret and Tucker Carlson used to face off on Inside Politics? Good stuff!
Begala and Carville seem to be more about standing up for what they're against and not about discussing and reaching a compromise or consensus.
