Texas Tuesdays: Chet Edwards 2.0

By Byron LaMasters

It's Texas Tuesdays again, and today we're featuring U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards (D-Waco) for the second time.

Charles has reposted the interview of Chet Edwards by State Rep. candidates Jake Gilbreath previously seen here at BOR.

There's also an introduction with the latest on the campaign.

Above is a picture of Chet Edwards and Jake Gilbreath a few weeks ago after the interview for Texas Tuesdays.

Show them some love.

The two biggest issues in the Edwards v. Wolhgemuth (I can never spell her name) are that Edwards has been fighting to save the Waco area VA hospital and the cuts Wolhgemuth proposed and got during her tenure in the state house to the CHIP program.

My whole political life, I've seen Edwards speak at area high school sto try and get kids to vote and I've seen him offer his support to clean up the Bosque watershed. I can vouch that he definitely is worth a few dollars to win in the new District 17 which is now very competitive thanks to our good friend Tom DeLay.
