Herseth Wins!

South Dakota Public Radio just announced that the AP called the race for Herseth.
With 95% of the returns in, here's the results:
U S HOUSE
(R) DIEDRICH LARRY 120975 49 765 / 798 reporting
(D) HERSETH STEPHANIE 123961 51 765 / 798 reporting
Update: I posted the picture so Andrew, Jim and every other straight guy out there can gawk at the official, new, hottest member of the United States Congress.

Its good that she won of course, but Diedrich will have a ton of money in November, plus the coattails of Bush and Thune. Herseth will have to raise big money to hold on to the seat in November. I think she can though, especially if Daschle can pull away until high single digits (which seems possible given new poll that shows him up 13%).
Stephanie Herseth is my legislative rock goddess.
A win is a win. :P
But let's not forget that the final result was closer than the polls predicted. An effective get out the vote effort made the difference.
