Racist Republicans? Here's the Record.
By Byron LaMasters
Save Texas Reps shows a record of race-baiting and hostility towards Hispanics by Rick Perry, David Dewhurst and Joe Crabb. I wouldn't say that any of the three are racists, but as Save Texas Reps shows, all three have had their moments of racial insensitivity.

Did you actually read those supposedly race-baiting examples? They are much more evidence of certain Hispanics being incredibly thin-skinned than they are of racial insensitivity.
For example, the Guerra charge, without any context, was in relation to the drug laundering that, incontestably, occurred at Sanchez's savings and loan. So, Perry was not supposed to say anything about Sanchez's poor oversight of the institution (and remember, Sanchez had no actual government experience to critique, only his business record) because it may have been perceived as equating Hispanics with drug dealers? That, if anything, is reverse race-baiting.
Ah, the daily dose of facile sophistry. Thanks Mark.
